How to Use BWS Online Manifest Retention Program

Our Online Manifest Retention Program was launched last October in order to simplify the documentation process and improve customer experience. The program aims to provide our customers with easy access to their manifests within 10 business days of the medical waste pickup. Once the waste is treated, all manifests are scanned into our program and stored electronically. These manifests include detailed information about each picked up container and are accessible online 24/7 through our website. All documents are securely stored on our server and continuously backed up.

It’s incredibly easy to access your waste pickup manifests online. If you aren’t using this system yet, give it a try and let us know if you have any feedback on what we could improve. Service calendars and service agreements are also available on our website and are easy to retrieve for your convenience.
The Instructions are Easy to Follow
You can access the Online Manifest Retention Program from any computer or mobile device.
Step 1: Visit our website at www.bwaste.com
Once you are there, mouse over the “Resources” tab in the top menu. A drop-down will appear where you should click on “Document Retrieval.”
Step 2: Log into the system.
Clicking on “Document Retrieval” will take you to a login screen shown in the screenshot below. In the Client ID section, enter your four 4-digit account number without the zeros in the front. For example, enter 3375 and not 03375 or 003375. For multiple locations, you will need to add a dash after the four digits followed by the location number. If your location is 28, you would enter 3375-28 in the Client ID field.
In the Passcode section, enter your 10-digit location phone number without dashes or spaces. For example, if your location phone number is (410) 111-2233, you would enter 4101112233. Once you enter your Client ID and Passcode, you will be prompted to enter your email address and full name to receive future notifications about documents ready for review.
Locating your Client ID and Passcode
For help finding your Client ID and Passcode, please refer to one of your invoices as shown in the photo below. Location numbers are listed before the charges under the description section and again in the top right-hand corner of the remittance stub. Manifest numbers are listed on all invoices for your convenience in the description section.
Step 3: Search for Manifests
Once you are logged in, you can search by manifest number, manifest dates, or just click “Search” and all manifests will appear. Under “Document Type,” you can also search for service agreements, service calendars, correspondence, and other relevant documents. If you click on “My Preferences” at the bottom left of the screen, you can update your email and name, and also opt in to be notified when new documents become available.
Step 4: Download
Lastly, click on the green arrow next to the document you wish to download. At that point, you can save it to a folder on your computer or mobile device and later print for your records.
